Amara Raja Infra Pvt Ltd (ARIPL), part of Amara Raja Group, has secured a 300 MWac /390 Mwp ground-mounted Balance of System (BoS) solar PV project from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).

In addition to building a 220 kV pooling substation and subsequent 220 kV power transmission infrastructure to the existing 220 kV/400 kV PGCIL (EHV) Sub-Station at Pavagada, the project includes the full BoS for a 300 MW/390 Mwp solar PV plant. Operations and maintenance of the project will be provided for five years. PV modules will be provided by SECI; this is not covered by the contract.

This massive project is scheduled to be finished within a year from the contract date and will be constructed on 1,100 acres of land close to Ramagiri in Andhra Pradesh. With this project, the business has completed more than 1 GW of solar portfolio and has a 3GW order book altogether.

Vadodara-headquartered electric two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturer of the ‘Joy e-bike’ and ‘Joy e-rik’ brand, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility (WIML) has further expanded its product portfolio for the Philippines market.

Lectrix EV, the e-mobility arm of SAR Group, has inked a strategic partnership with Bike Bazaar, a leading player in financing and renting of electric two-wheelers.

The company has received over 200 bookings in Lucknow, of which it has already delivered 51 electric three-wheelers.
