PURE EV Launches X Platform 3.0

PURE EV, one of India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturers, has launched the X Platform 3.0. powered by advanced AI technology, upgrading its existing platform and delivering advanced features aimed at improving vehicle performance, connectivity and overall rider convenience.

With real-time updates on important vehicle parameters like battery health and range, the platform empowers passengers with information for a hassle-free journey, all while improving consumer convenience. With all of these characteristics combined, the X Platform 3.0 represents a major breakthrough in electric vehicle (EV) technology and a new benchmark for industry innovation. With a 25 percent increase in torque and overall performance, Thrill Mode is one of the most notable additions to the X Platform 3.0, providing customers with an even more thrilling riding experience. This function is intended for people who want a strong, dynamic driving that raises the bar for electric car performance.

Advanced Predictive AI, a technology that learns from rider behaviour and adjusts to different riding situations, is also included into the platform. Based on the idea that ‘Prevention is Better than Cure’, this feature prioritises dependability and guarantees 100 percent vehicle uptime by spotting and fixing possible problems before they become serious. When used in conjunction with Cloud AI, the platform offers over-the-air updates and enhancements, maintaining the software of the vehicle current and performance-optimised. The Next-Generation TFT Dashboard, which effortlessly integrates with iOS and Android devices, is another feature that sets the X Platform 3.0 apart. A variety of clever features, such as range predictions, battery health updates and real-time navigation maps, are available on this contemporary dashboard to provide riders access to all the information they need.

New Gen Smart AI Based Vehicle Control Unit, regenerative braking, coasting regen, improved electric breaking system, quick throttle response and a highly efficient powertrain are just a few of the features that will be added to this advancement, which builds on the success of its predecessor platform and is expected to completely change the electric two-wheeler industry's customer experience. PURE EV's premium models, the ePluto 7G Max and eTryst X, will be the first to provide the X Platform 3.0. By the end of CY 2025, all other models are expected to follow.     Ather Energy, a leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer in the country, has introduced multi-language dashboard interface for its family e-scooter the Rizta.

    With this, the EV maker becomes the first two-wheeler maker to provide 8 regional language support - Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada - on an electric two-wheeler.

    With this the company will expand its EV userbase to interact with the Rizta in a language convenient for the customers.

    Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said, “Since the beginning we have designed and built our technology and products from the ground up, keeping the needs of Indian consumers in mind. Our aim has always been to deliver quality user experiences that make our scooters more engaging. Given India’s rich diversity, and the pride that people take in their regional languages, our intent was to make our scooters more user friendly. We believe the multi-language dashboard would allow the riders to personalise their scooters in the language of their preference.”

    The company will introduce the multi-language dashboard as an over-the-air (OTA) software update to the AtherStack for existing and new Rizta Z owners.

      Bengaluru-based electric vehicle start-up Simple Energy has announced its ambitious aggressive expansion plans for 2025, which includes opening 150 new stores and 200 service centers across multiple cities, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata among others.

      This will be in addition to the existing 10 stores operational. The company which has been under pressure for having delay in deliveries, is now finally gearing up to enhance its presence in the country. It claims to have already delivered 1,500 e-scooters. At present, Simple Energy has set-up stores in Bengaluru, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag and Kochi.

      Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO, Simple Energy, said, "We are immensely excited to embark on this new phase of expansion with 150 stores and 200 service centres.       Till date, the company has raised USD 41 million (INR 3.4 billion) in Pre-series A and Series A round from angel investors and family offices like Balamurugan Arumugam, Chief Growth Officer, Klarity – SaaS startup, Apar Industries’ promoters, the Haran family office, Dr A Velumani’s family office and the Vasavi family office among others.

        Blue Energy Motors Signs Mou With Government Of Maharashtra To Set Up EV Truck Manufacturing Plant

        Blue Energy Motors Ltd., a key partner in Essar’s green mobility initiative and a pioneer in clean-energy trucking, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra during the World Economic Forum in Davos. The agreement outlines a proposed INR 35 billion investment to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the state, aiming to produce 30,000 advanced electric (EV) trucks.

        The facility, slated to commence operations in FY 2025-26, will include advanced research and development capabilities, a battery-pack production line, motor manufacturing units and EV charging stations. This initiative is expected to create over 4,000 direct jobs, strengthening Maharashtra’s position as a hub for clean mobility solutions while accelerating its transition to green energy.

        Commenting on the partnership, Blue Energy Motors Chief Executive Officer Anirudh Bhuwalka said, “We are excited to announce this landmark partnership with the Government of Maharashtra. This collaboration represents a crucial milestone in our ambitions of pioneering green trucking in partnership with Essar’s green mobility initiative. It reflects our shared vision for a cleaner, greener and a more sustainable future. Our investment will not only reaffirm Maharashtra’s position as a global hub for advanced clean mobility solutions but also will contribute to job creation and economic growth.”

        The facility will employ cutting-edge manufacturing practices to produce zero-emission EV trucks integrated with AI and ML technologies, setting new standards in heavy-duty trucking efficiency and reliability while significantly reducing carbon footprints.

          Terra Charge has named Go Suzuki as its new Managing Director for India. With over 13 years of experience spanning business development, global operations and mergers and acquisitions, Suzuki is poised to steer the company’s growth in the USD 23.38 billion EV ecosystem.

          Terra Charge is exploring advanced data analytics to optimise EV charger placement and integrating smart energy management systems to enhance efficiency. The company is also pursuing joint ventures and strengthening its local leadership team to enhance its innovation capabilities. These initiatives align with the growing EV charging market in India, projected to reach $5.7 billion by 2030.

          Suzuki’s appointment underscores Terra Charge’s commitment to driving accessibility and innovation in India’s rapidly evolving EV landscape.
