Citroen Reveals The Price Of The C5 Aircross

Citroen has finally revealed the price of its first offering to the Indian market. The C5 Aircross will start at an introductory price of INR29,90,000 (ex-showroom) for the Feel variant, and the top of the line Shine variant costs INR 31,90,000 (ex-showroom).
Both the variants are available in Bi-tone colour options by paying an INR 50,000 premium. Customers can order the C5 Aircross directly from the factory and get it home delivered 100 percent online in 50 cities across the country.
In a bid to offer peace of mind for its customers, Citroen has introduced Citroen Future Sure, a comprehensive package that allows customers to own the C5 Aircross with easy monthly payment of INR 49,999. The package offers owners an assured future value on the car, routine maintenance, extended warranty, roadside assistance and on-road financing for up to 5 years.
Citroen has also launched its aftersales network called the L’Atelier Citroen, through which it will offer – Remote diagnostics supported by warranty and parts availability for a stress-free ownership. The company will also offer door-to-door service for common repairs and also back it with pan-India road side assistance service.
At the moment, Citroen has inaugurated ten La Maison dealerships across India in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai.

Suzuki Wagon R Crosses 10 Million Global Sales Milestone

Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor Corporation has announced that its popular hatchback the ‘Wagon R’ series has achieved a new sales milestone.
First introduced in September 1993 in Japan, the Wagon R has now crossed cumulative global sales of 10 million units by June 2025. The milestone was achieved 31 years and 9 months after the first launch.
The Wagon R was originally developed as a semi-bonnet style mini wagon, designed with rider comfort and ease of use in mind. It has become one of Suzuki’s signature models, widely appreciated in Japan.
Over the years, production expanded beyond Japan to countries including India, Hungary and Indonesia, with the model evolving to suit local market needs. The technologies refined for global minicar standards have been applied across the Wagon R series.
To date, the Wagon R has been sold in over 75 countries and regions, including Japan, India and across Europe. The series has consistently improved in terms of fuel efficiency, environmental performance, and user convenience. For instance, CNG variants with enhanced fuel economy have been introduced in India, while the Wagon R Smile – featuring sliding doors – was launched in Japan.

Tata Motors’ CFO PB Balaji Succeeds Adrian Mardell As New Boss Of Jaguar Land Rover

Tata Motors-owned British luxury marquee brand Jaguar Land Rover has announced that PB Balaji is set to become its new CEO effective November 2025.
He will succeed Adrian Mardell, who has expressed his desire to retire from Jaguar Land Rover after being at the helm for three years and spending over three and half decades with the luxury brand.
With over three decades of experience in the automotive and consumer goods industry, Balaji has been serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer of the Tata Motors Group since November 2017. He has successfully led large, diverse, global teams in multi-cultural environments out of Mumbai, London, Singapore and Switzerland, and has been closely associated with the successful transformation at the Tata Motors Group.
N Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Jaguar Land Rover, Tata Motors and Tata Sons, said, “I would like to thank Adrian for the stellar turnaround of JLR and for delivering record results. I am delighted to appoint Balaji as the incoming CEO of the Company. The search for a suitable candidate to lead JLR has been undertaken by the Board for the past few months and after careful consideration it was decided to appoint Balaji. JSW MG Motor India Marks 6th Year Anniversary With Special Pricing On Hector And Astor SUVs

Hyundai Creta Becomes India's Highest Selling Passenger Vehicle In The First Seven Months Of 2025

Hyundai Motor India (HMIL), one of the leading passenger vehicle manufacturers, has announced its most popular SUV offering the Hyundai Creta has become the highest-selling model across segments for the first seven months in India.
The company reportedly sold 117,458 Hyundai Creta during January to July, with a 8 percent YoY growth making it the most popular model sold in the passenger vehicle category.
