Ducati To Launch 10 New Models In India In 2026

Italian superbike maker Ducati India has revealed its aggressive product roadmap for 2026, confirming the introduction of 10 new and updated motorcycles to the Indian market.
The announcement includes plans to expand the brand's dealer touchpoints to improve accessibility and service for its customer base.
The 2026 portfolio comprises the Desmo450 MX, New Multistrada V4 Rally (2026 Edition), Panigale V4 Lamborghini, Panigale V4 Marquez Replica, Panigale V2 Special Edition MM93, Panigale V2 Special Edition PB63, New Monster V2, Diavel V4 RS and the New Hypermotard V2/V2 SP. These follow the Panigale V4R, which was launched in India on 2 January 2026.
The launch schedule begins in the first quarter of 2026 with the Multistrada V4 Rally, the Panigale V4 Lamborghini, and the Desmo450 MX. The third quarter will see the arrival of the New Monster V2 and the Marc Márquez and Pecco Bagnaia Special Editions of the Panigale V2, followed by the Diavel V4 RS. The final quarter of the year will feature the Hypermotard V2 range in October, concluding with the Panigale V4 Marc Márquez Replica in December.

Ducati will open bookings at its dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Kolkata. Indicative pricing for the upcoming range will be released on the company's website ahead of the specific launch dates.
Yamaha Motor India Launches XSR155 Metallic Black Variant At INR 158,990

India Yamaha Motor has expanded its XSR155 line-up with the introduction of a ‘Metallic Black’ colour option at INR 158,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new variant features golden upside-down (USD) front forks and minimalist bodywork, following the brand’s ‘Modern Retro Sport’ design philosophy. The XSR155 was originally launched in the Indian market in November 2025. It is built on Yamaha’s Deltabox frame and includes an aluminium swing arm.
The motorcycle utilises a 155cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. The XSR155 produces 13.5 kW of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. It features 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch, USD front forks and linked-type monocross rear suspension, deltabox frame with 17-inch wheels and dual-channel ABS and Traction Control System (TCS).

Royal Enfield Sales Exceed 100,000 Units in February 2026

Chennai-based mid-sized motorcycle specialist Royal Enfield has reported monthly sales of 100,905 motorcycles for February 2026, an 11 percent increase over the 90,670 units sold last year.
Domestic sales grew by 13 percent to 91,248 units, while exports saw a marginal decline of 2 percent to 9,657 units. For the current financial year-to-date, total sales have reached 1.12 million units, a 24 percent increase compared to the previous year.
To address demand, parent company Eicher Motors has approved a USD 116 million (Rs 958 crore) investment for a brownfield expansion at the Cheyyar manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. This project, expected to be completed over the next 18 months, will increase annual production capacity from 1.46 million units to 2 million units.
In international markets, the Royal Enfield Bear 650 received the ‘Best Naked Bike’ award at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026. The company also opened its first international apparel store in Russia.

Hero MotoCorp Reports 44% Wholesales Growth In February 2026

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has recorded its highest YoY dispatch performance for February, with 558,216 units sold. This represents a 44 percent increase compared to the 388,068 units dispatched during the same month in 2025.
The company also reported an 18 percent increase in VAHAN registrations, totalling 458,346 units for the month.
Hero MotoCorp attributed the growth to the 100cc–125cc motorcycle segment and the scooter category, specifically the Xoom and Destini models.
VIDA, the electric mobility arm of Hero MotoCorp, recorded a threefold increase in market share compared to February 2025. Registrations for VIDA reached 12,514 units, reflecting a shift in consumer adoption of electric vehicles in the company's markets.
The international business division saw dispatches rise from 30,772 units to 41,248 units. This double-digit growth in global markets was attributed to demand for the company’s portfolio of premium motorcycles.
TVS Motor Company Sells 529,308 Units In February 2026

TVS Motor Company (TVSM), one of the leading two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturers, has recorded monthly sales of 529,308 units for February 2026, up 31 percent YoY, as compared to the 403,976 units sold last year.
The company’s international business achieved its highest sales to date, with total exports reaching 158,000 units during the month.
Total two-wheeler sales rose by 30 percent, increasing from 391,889 units in the previous year to 507,862 units. Within this segment, domestic sales grew by 32 percent, reaching 365,471 units.
In February 2026, the company sold 241,282 motorcycles, up 25 percent YoY, 219,895 scooters, up 34 percent YoY, while three-wheeler sales grew by 77 percent YoY to 21,446 units.
The electric vehicle (EV) segment recorded a 60 percent growth rate, with sales rising from 24,017 units in February 2025 to 38,386 units in February 2026.
Total exports for the company registered a 27 percent increase, moving from 124,993 units to 158,268 units. Two-wheeler exports specifically saw a 23 percent rise, reaching 142,391 units.
