Motorrad India has launched the new BMW C 400 GT in India. It is a premium midsize scooter that will be available as a completely built-up unit (CBU).
Bookings for the scooter are open at all BMW Motorrad India dealerships already. The introductory ex-showroom price of the scooter is upwards of INR 1,150,000.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, a leading manufacturer of motorcycle and scooters in the country, is further strengthening its premium product portfolio with the opening of Honda BigWing showroom in Pune, Maharashtra.

The BigWing showroom sells Honda’s premium product lineup marks, which includes 200cc - 1800cc two-wheelers in top metros and BigWing - exclusively for mid-size motorcycle segment in the 200cc – 500cc segment in other cities. TVS Motor Company, a leading manufacturer of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, has rolled out its updated range of OBD-2B compliant vehicles, starting with the TVS Jupiter 110 scooter at INR 76,691(ex-showroom, New Delhi) for the base variant.

The company shared that its OBD-2B compliant vehicles have seen significant upgrade in sensor technology and on-board capability. OBD-2B deploys sensors that collect data for throttle response, air-fuel ratio, engine temperature, fuel quantity and engine speed.

The live analysis of the data is done through the on-board Engine Control Unit (ECU), which monitors pre-programmed parameters. This ensures that the vehicles continue running in a clean and eco-friendly way, throughout its lifetime, with enhanced durability.

TVS Motor Co will upgrade its entire range of vehicles to comply with OBD-2B norms by March 2025.

Royal Enfield, one of the leading mid-size motorcycle manufacturers, has inaugurated its new warehouse in Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra.

The new facility, spread across 50,000 sqft houses, more than 3,500 SKUs and will strengthen the company’s aftersales service support by providing faster availability of genuine parts across western and central India.

The company said that the strategically located facility will significantly reduce transit time for spare parts, oil and lubes for Royal Enfield’s customers in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Goa.

It will support demand for genuine parts and Royal Enfield essentials from over 310 channel partners.
