Ultraviolette Automotive Inaugurates New 3S Space Station In Nagpur

Ultraviolette Automotive has opened a new UV Space Station in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The facility was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways. This 3S centre, established in partnership with Quantum Surge Motors LLP, provides sales, service, and spare parts for the company’s electric motorcycle portfolio.
The Nagpur centre displays the F77 and the X-47 Crossover, a radar-integrated electric motorcycle featuring a 10.3 kWh battery and an IDC range of 323 km.
Ultraviolette has introduced ‘Battery Flex’, a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform, which allows customers to purchase the vehicle chassis separately from the battery to reduce initial costs with the X-47 available from INR 149,000 and battery subscription starting at a monthly fee of INR 2,499.

Honda Expands BigWing Lineup: E-Clutch For Middleweight Twins, New Colour For Gold Wing

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its premium BigWing lineup with the 2026 CB750 Hornet E-Clutch and XL750 Transalp E-Clutch, marking the first integration of E-Clutch technology into the 755-cc platform. The Gold Wing also receives a new colour option, while the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP remains the flagship supersport model, strengthening HMSI’s portfolio across street naked, adventure touring, luxury touring and high-performance categories.
The CB750 Hornet E-Clutch combines convenience with spirited riding, powered by a 755-cc engine producing 67.5 kW and 75 Nm of torque. Key features include Showa 41 mm upside-down front forks, dual 296 mm discs, a five-inch TFT display with RoadSync and multiple riding modes. The E-Clutch system enhances the streetfighter character for both city and winding roads.

The XL750 Transalp E-Clutch shares the same 755-cc engine and adds E-Clutch technology to Honda’s adventure touring platform for improved comfort across diverse terrains. It features Showa SFF-CA front suspension, a five-inch TFT screen with RoadSync, multiple riding modes including Gravel and a dual LED headlamp setup, making mixed-riding conditions more convenient.

The 2026 Gold Wing continues luxury touring with a new paint scheme, an 1833-cc six-cylinder engine and a seven-speed dual clutch transmission with reverse mode. Premium amenities include an electronically adjustable windscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an advanced audio system and an airbag. The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP remains track focused with a 1,000-cc engine producing 160 kW, Öhlins suspension, Brembo brakes and an Akrapovič exhaust.

TVS Motor Company Launches Premium Experience Channel TVS Paddock

These outlets will house specialised service capabilities and expert technical consultation to ensure high-tier aftersales support.
TVS Paddock is scheduled for an official commercial rollout in Q2 FY2027 (July–September). The network will function as an independent, premium retail ecosystem designed to strengthen customer connections through community building and tailored brand touchpoints.

Hero MotoCorp Unveils Splendor+ & HF Deluxe First Flex-Fuel Motorcycles In India

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has introduced its first flex-fuel vehicles – the Splendor+ Flex Fuel and the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel. The launch introduces the first flex-fuel motorcycles to India's 100cc mass-market segment, establishing a new milestone in the country's transition toward alternative fuels.
The Hero HF Deluxe Flex Fuel will be sold at INR 72,792 and Hero Splendor+ Flex Fuel at INR 82,710 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Engineered for everyday commuting, these new models are fully compatible with ethanol-blended petrol ranging from E20 up to E85. The localised technology supports India's national directive to lower economic carbon intensity by 45 percent by 2030.
The vehicles were unveiled ahead of World Environment Day in New Delhi in the presence of Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) and Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), alongside Hero MotoCorp leadership.
Developed at Hero MotoCorp's Centre for Innovation & Technology (CIT) in Jaipur, the flex-fuel line features minimal-to-no imported component content. The initial market release is scheduled for July 2026 across Delhi and select regions of Maharashtra, with a nationwide rollout to follow shortly thereafter.
Both motorcycles are powered by a modified 97.2cc engine architecture engineered to dynamically adapt to varying ethanol-to-petrol ratios. When running on E85 fuel, the powertrain delivers a peak power output of 6.3 kW at 8,000 rpm and maximum torque of 8.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm. To handle the corrosive and chemical properties of high-concentration ethanol blends, both models incorporate revised Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and structurally upgraded fuel system components.
