EMotorad launched a range of X-Factor line Xplorer+ and exclusive range of Elite e-bikes Nighthawk and Desert Eagle in the Indian market at the EM Summit 2023, the range being India’s most affordable, the company claims. The new e-bikes range was unveiled by actress Neha Dupia, followed by the launch of revolutionary IoT technology that is soon to be integrated into the e-bikes.

The entire range of e-bikes is equipped with top-of-the-line features and parts, and is built for the trails with exceptional premium components. It boasts precise EXACT ACTUATION technology that eliminates slop and shifting variation.

The ultra-premium e-bike, Nighthawk, possesses a strong aluminium frame, 150 mm travel fork and 35 mm stanchions for precise handling and high stiffness levels. It leverages the history of SRAM shifting with an X5 derailleur that provides incredible shifting speed. Additionally, the e-bike is equipped with Tektro 2 piston front and rear brakes and Maxxis Minion DHF Exo Protection Tubeless Ready tyres.

Desert Eagle is equipped with a 120 mm travel fork and possesses a Proven Motion Control damper, featuring low-speed compression adjustment to lockout with external rebound adjustment. The app-controlled e-bike also leverages SRAM shifting to provide incredible shifting speed while eliminating slop and shifting variation. Plus, it features Kenda Juggernaut 30 TPI wirr bead Puncture Resistant Tyre Casing for a hassle-free riding experience. 

The launch of the Elite e-bike range was followed by the unveiling of the X-Factor Range – a new trail-blazing economical e-bike range, designed and built in India for the regular Indian. The X-Factor Range is the culmination of thorough research and design to make these e-bikes the most budget-friendly premium e-bikes for everyday use over different terrains for riders of all age groups.

The entry-level X-Factor range of e-bikes feature detachable batteries, LCD displays and class-leading specifications to serve as a gateway to new e-bike users. Each model also features durable steel frames and single speed drivetrains with the option to add derailleurs. X1 possesses mechanical disc brakes with auto cut off and a high tensile steel frame with one level of pedal assist with 12 magnets, while X2 and X3 feature three levels of pedal assist. Both the X1 and the X2 boast removable batteries.

EMotorad also shared its plans to disrupt the e-bikes market with its revolutionary technology. The event wrapped up with an exclusive Tech Launch, showcasing the IoT-enabled e-bikes that will tackle many user problems, such as measuring the calories burnt and setting targets and goals as per users’ requisites. 

The new-age technology that will be integrated into e-bikes redefines the biking experience in the country, making it a modern and carbon-neutral commute alternative, according to EMotorad. In addition, it plans to make a smart e-bike with EMotorad’s state-of-the-art app features to track heart rate, calories and kilometres travelled, and a platform for a community of riders to connect and plan rides. Statiq Partners BMW Group India To Electrify Major Corridors With Fast Charging Network

Statiq, an electric vehicle charging network provider, has partnered with German luxury brand BMW Group India to establish a high-power charging corridor across the country's major driving routes. The initiative aims to install charging stations of a minimum of every 120 kW every 300-350km, facilitating intercity travel for users.

The collaboration has created a robust charging corridor spanning over 4,000 km from Jammu to Madurai. The fast chargers are strategically located on key highways and public spaces, and they are accessible to all EV owners, regardless of brand. BMW customers can locate and access these chargers through the myBMW app.

  • The chargers deployed offer capacities ranging from 120 kW to 720 kW.
  • Chargers are placed near cafes, restaurants and public spaces to enhance the customer experience.

Statiq's network currently includes more than 8,000 EV chargers in over 70 cities and has integrated its platform with other major charging providers like E-Fill, Sunfuel and GLIDA to expand usability.

NIO Achieves Record Monthly Deliveries In October, ES6 Passes 300,000 Unit Production Milestone

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer NIO has announced that it has achieved its highest-ever monthly sales record in October 2025, delivering 40,397 vehicles, which represents a substantial increase of 92.6 percent YoY. This milestone was announced as the 300,000th NIO ES6 rolled off the production line.

The total October deliveries were distributed across the company’s three electric vehicle brands:

  • NIO Premium smart EV brand: 17,143 units.
  • ONVO (Family-oriented smart EV brand): 17,342 units.
  • FIREFLY (Small smart EV brand): 5,912 units.

Cumulative deliveries for the company reached 913,182 units as of 31 October 2025.

The NIO ES6 has become the best-selling battery EV from a Chinese brand priced above RMB 300,000, and the first in its segment to reach the 300,000-unit production milestone. The new ES6, introduced earlier this year, has strengthened NIO's leadership in the premium EV market.

The NIO ES6 is a 5-seater mid-size SUV with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. Key specs include a total power output of up to 400 kW (536 hp) and 725 Nm of torque, enabling a zero to 100 kmph of 4.7 seconds for the Performance and Signature models. It features a standard active air suspension and is available with a 75 kWh or 100 kWh battery pack, with the latter offering a claimed range of up to 610 km on the NEDC cycle. 

Furthermore, the ONVO L90, the brand’s smart large-space flagship SUV, achieved monthly deliveries exceeding 10,000 units for the third consecutive month since its official launch in late July 2025. The L90 is positioned to accelerate the transition of large three-row SUVs toward full electrification.
