The ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 continued to witness impressive participation from auto enthusiasts, students and the general public on its fifth day. Adding glamour to the fifth day were some of the Indian cricketers and Bollywood stars, who graced the various shows and elevated the excitement.
SIAM hosted the 3rd International Symposium for Thriving Eco-Energy in Mobility (ISTEM) at New Delhi's Bharat Mandapam. Bringing together a number of distinguished speakers and dignitaries, the discussion's focus was ‘Future-Ready Solutions: Road to Carbon Neutralisation’ and its goal was to promote sustainable transportation. In order to achieve carbon neutrality in the transportation sector, the conference provided a forum for the discussion of creative approaches, concepts and solutions.
Industry executives from the automotive, technology and mobility sectors, as well as heads of international engineering research and development and academia, came together at the Nasscom Mobility Tech Pavilion at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. With a focus on important topics like sustainable mobility and strong cybersecurity for connected cars, the pavilion established India as a leader in influencing the direction of mobility in the future.
At the Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2025, prominent Indian cricketer Shubhman Gill and up-and-coming Bollywood star Vedang Raina were hosted by the Mercedes Benz India pavilion. The G580, an all-electric variant of the Mercedes G-Class that attracted notice with its G-Turn manoeuvre, was on display at the Mercedes outdoor pavilion. Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan contributed to the glitz and excitement of the Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2025 by making a surprise visit at the Maruti Suzuki India Limited pavilion today. This was a part of the announcement made by Maruti Suzuki India Limited that Kartik Aaryan will be the Brezza's brand ambassador, kicking off the company's exciting new campaign, ‘More Power to Your Play’.
Brands like Michelin, JK Tyre and MRF drew attention at the Tyre Expo 2025 with their imaginative installations. With their Play Zone, where guests could compete against one another on a computer console, Michelin enthralled guests. MRF ZLX set up a photo booth where guests could sit in a chair shaped like a tyre and snap photos with a digital image of Virat Kohli, who is MRF's brand ambassador. However, the JK Tyre stall's Formula 4 vehicle was the star of the show and capturing the interest of race fans of all ages. Along with other startups and mobility service providers, this cutting-edge display showcased innovative solutions that are influencing the direction of transportation. Contributors included Bosch, HCLTech, Tata Elxsi, KPIT, QuestGlobal and Capgemini.
Today's successful conclusion of ‘The Components Show’ at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi highlighted India's developing automotive ecosystem and advancements made towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Highlights of recent days include the introduction and display of cutting-edge products and solutions, such as Novus Hi-Tech's DGMS-compliant safety technologies, ALP Group's revolutionary Paint Protection Films, BorgWarner's advanced EV solutions and ParaSafe's ground-breaking Jacket and Jeans, which represent a revolutionary leap in personal safety and mobility and are specifically made for motorcycle riders, delivery workers and high-risk users. ArcellorMittal Nippon Steel India displayed their goods and inventions at the steel pavilion, including the Battery Pack Solution, Double Door Ring and H Frame, among many others.
Both industry participants and tourists demonstrated impressive engagement on the third day of the Bharat Construction Equipment Expo and the Urban Mobility Infrastructure Show. Today, Expo Mart in Greater Noida hosted a number of thought-provoking talks about the future of urban air mobility (UAM) in India and the CE sector that is propelling advancement and expansion. The 3rd CE Manufacturing & Supply Chain Summit was organised by iCEMA in collaboration with the Ministry of Heavy Industries, and the International Conference on Air Mobility, with the theme ‘Aerial Evolution: Shaping Tomorrow's Urban Air Mobility’, brought together policymakers, business executives and international industry experts.

Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 Continues The Momentum On Day 4

The ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 continued its momentum with an impressive turnout of attendees on its fourth day. Being held at three venues in and around Delhi, the event continued attracting eager visitors who explored the latest technology and innovations while engaging with the diverse range of products and mobility solutions showcased by prominent companies and brands. SIAM held two conferences at New Delhi's Bharat Mandapam. Key government representatives, business executives, legislators, and scholars convened at the 11th Auto Trade Dialogue, which had as its topic the ‘Changing Paradigm of Global Trade Practices in the Auto Sector’, to talk about new developments, obstacles and prospects in the automotive trade environment. With the theme ‘Nature Positive Recycling – Systemic Transformation to Automotive Circular Economy in India’, the 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Circularity (ICSC) convened industry stakeholders to deliberate and plan how to incorporate circular economy principles into the Indian automotive industry.
In order to promote bicycles and the micromobility industry, the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC) held the India Cycle Show 2025 in Pragati Maidan. The event featured a variety of new bikes, interactive exhibits, test-drive tracks, and other activities. By displaying e-scooters, e-bikes and personal mobility equipment, Avon Cycles demonstrated its innovation in the expanding micro-mobility industry. The Toyota Hiolux FCEV combines the off-road capabilities of the Hilux pickup truck with the hydrogen engine technology seen in the Toyota Mirai car.
The Indian Steel Association's International Steel Pavilion in Hall 4 showcased the most recent developments in automotive steel, emphasising lightweight, strong and sustainable solutions that are reshaping the automobile industry's future. Advanced technologies in lightweight, high-strength steel for automotive applications, environmentally friendly production methods and solutions for body structures, chassis and safety components from a variety of brands, including ArcellorMittal Nippon Steel India and JSW Steel Limited, were showcased in the pavilion.
Leaders in construction equipment and mobility participated in innovative showcases, lively talks and professional insights at the India Expo Centre & Mart's Bharat Construction Equipment Expo and Urban Mobility Infrastructure Show. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) also hosted a number of conferences at the location today. ALP Group also revealed its innovative Paint Protection Film (PPF), which is intended to revolutionise vehicle protection, among other introductions. Meenakshi Polymers introduced the Cushion Backrest for Two-Wheelers, while MN Auto Products Pvt Ltd revealed the 'Super', their most recent creation.

SIAM Hosts 3rd International Conference On Sustainable Circularity

The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the apex body representing the country’s leading automobile manufacturers, hosted the 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Circularity (ICSC) at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on the sidelines of Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Theme ‘Nature Positive Recycling – Systemic Transformation to Automotive Circular Economy in India’, the conference emphasised the need for systemic transformation through regulatory frameworks, technological advancements and collaborative efforts across stakeholders, underscoring India’s potential to lead global efforts in sustainable automotive practices.
Bhupender Yadav, Union Minister of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, who was the Chief Guest during the inaugural session of the conference, launched the SIAM Strategy Paper ‘Towards Circular Future in the Indian Automobile Industry: Integrating EPR Regime in Waste Stream Regulations’ and said, "As the automotive industry observes a notable growth, it is imperative to reflect on our environmental obligations. Nature, with its innate capacity for regeneration, serves as an exemplar for our operational strategies. Our focus extends beyond mere waste management to stimulating economic development, diminishing emissions and cultivating societal advancements through the promotion of green jobs. Initiatives such as the Vehicle Scrappage Policy 2021 and the endorsement of electric vehicles manifest our commitment to sustainable practices. As we navigate towards a circular economy, our actions must be guided by a steadfast dedication to environmental integrity and ecological stewardship. SIAM has done an admirable job of initiating discussions on circularity which showcases its commitment to the growth of the automotive sector and promoting India’s green goals."
Session One, themed ‘Impact of EPR on ELV Recycling and Compliance: New Paradigm of Material Circulatory’, was graced by Guests of Honour Arvind Kumar Nautiyal, Joint Secretary, Government of India and Member Secretary, CAQM, and Mahmood Ahmed, Additional Secretary, MoRTH. The session explored policy interventions, international practices and innovations required for scaling up ELV recycling. The session also saw the launch of an approach paper on ‘Automotive Circularity in India’. The session witnessed discourses by the guests of honour as well as Sanjay Mehta, President, MRAI; Timo Unger, Chairperson – Working Group on Materials & Substances, ACEA; Vikram Kasbekar, ED and CTO, Hero MotoCorp and M S Anandkumar, Chair, SIAM Recycling & Material Group and SGM, TVS Motor Company.
Rajendra M Petkar, President and CTO, Tata Motors Ltd and Chairperson, SIAM Sustainable Mobility Group, chaired the Session Two. Themed ‘Regulatory & Policy Challenges and Innovating Solutions in the ELV Recycling Ecosystem’, the session deliberated on regulatory and policy challenges the ELV recycling ecosystem encounters along with possible solutions and the necessity of innovation. The session included presentations by R K Goyal, Director Saarloha Advanced Materials and Managing Director, Kalyani Steel, on ‘Sustainable Circularity for Green Steel Manufacturing in India’; Sonal Choithani, Vice President and Head of Market Development, Vedanta, on ‘Metals & Mobility: Building A Greener Future for Transportation’; Sosho Kitajima, Chairman, Japan Automobile Recycling Alliance (JARA), on ‘ELV management landscape in Japan’; R Mukhopadhyay, Director (R&D) J K Tyres, on ‘Sustainable Circularity – Challenges & Opportunities for Tyre & Auto Rubber Components Industry’; ALN Rao, Head of Electronics Recycling, Recykal, on ‘Innovative Tech in Automotive Circularity’; David Nolan, Executive Director, Auto Recycler Association of Australia, on ‘Automotive Circularity landscape in Australia’; Sarvesh Tomar, General Manager, BPCL, on ‘Challenges and Opportunities in Used Oil Recycling in India: Paving the path to Sustainability’ and Prabhjot Sodhi, Sr Programme Director, CEE, on ‘Policy interventions as catalysts for sustainable automotive circularity’.
Session Three, carrying the theme ‘Harnessing Cutting-edge Technologies and Business Models to Revolutionise ELV Recycling’, was addressed by Guest of Honor Sujit Kumar Bajpayee, Member, Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), and moderated by Ashim Sharma, Senior Partner, NRI Consulting & Solutions. Other eminent personalities who shared their opinion in the session included Vinod Babu, Director, CPCB; Masaru Akaishi, Managing Director, Maruti Suzuki Toyotsu India Pvt Ltd; Kartick Nagpal, President, Rosmerta; Nitin Chitkara, CEO, Meta Material Circular Markets (MMCM); Prabhakar Bhangare, CEO, Global PCCS and Anant Bhargava, IFP Petro.
Session Four revolved around the theme ‘Challenges and Way forward for Closing the Loop on Automotive Material and Components’. The session was graced by Guest of Honour Ved Prakash Mishra, Joint Secretary – HSM, MoEFCC, Government of India, and chaired by Kiran Sarkar, Co-Chairperson, SIAM Recycling and Material Groups and Head – Sustainability, Mahindra & Mahindra. Apart from a thematic presentation by Likith Koundinya, Consulting Specialist, S&P Global, the session also saw panel discussions by Anand Kumar, Director, CPCB; Sumit Agrawal, Director, BigMint Technologies Pvt Ltd (SteelMint); Dr Rashi Gupta, Founder & MD, Vision Mechatronics and V Manjunath, Regional Standards Manager – South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, at UL Standards & Engagement Inc., (ULSE).

Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 Officially Opens For The Public

The third day of the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 witnessed a massive turnout of enthusiastic attendees at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, as the Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2025 was officially opened for the public. Visitors can register via the Bharat Mobility mobile app, DMRC App or the District (by Zomato) app.
With over 10 new product releases and top firms like Amara Raja showing its future giga corridor for lithium-ion battery and cell manufacture, the Bharat Battery Show, which had over 88 exhibitors, also started on the third day. In order to stimulate conversations about creative approaches to road safety, SIAM successfully hosted the inaugural Summit for Automotive Future Advancement in Road Safety (SAFAR) at Bharat Mandapam on the third day. With the topic ‘United Efforts for Road Safety: Safer Roads, Our Responsibility’, the event sought to promote teamwork in enhancing road safety in India via thought-provoking conversations, engaging exercises and creative projects.
With its exhilarating drift performance, BMW India's outdoor exhibit at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 attracted a sizeable crowd. A committed professional driver demonstrated exceptional competence by doing doughnuts around a little track that was particularly created. Every session included a different car out of three and a brand-new set of drift tyres, guaranteeing an exciting performance show. Additionally, at their Arena of Desire, Mercedes Benz India showcased the Concept CLA-Class, which represents the future of luxury and performance.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd's ‘Value Life, Ride Safe’ campaign reaffirmed the company's dedication to traffic safety. In order to improve their abilities, visitors of all ages may play interactive road safety games, use simulator riding trainers to experience real-life situations and slowly ride. Visitors were also able to record their moments of dedication to road safety in a designated selfie area, which enhanced the experience. In order to teach people safe driving techniques, Maruti Suzuki India also installed a driving simulator under its Road Safety VR Zone. This was a component of Maruti Suzuki India Limited's road safety-focused CSR programme.
Among other things, Ceat displayed all-terrain and off-road tyres for luxury SUVs and cars. They also showcased their Ceat Tracks for mining and agricultural vehicles and their Crossraid line of two-wheelers. Michelin showcased its cutting-edge tyres that can be altered to fit various terrain conditions using integrated 3D printing technology. The company displayed a video clip behind the tyre that demonstrated how consumers will be able to choose from a variety of tread variations for different types of terrain, including sand, hills, snow and much more. Additionally, the company demonstrated its airless radial tyre design, which is suitable for large trucks.
Under the auspices of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Bharat Construction Equipment Expo and the Urban Mobility Infrastructure Show got underway at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. The event was formally opened by Ministry of Commerce and Industry Commerce Secretary Sunil Barthwal. Leading firms displayed their latest products, including Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. Pvt Ltd, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt Ltd, Sany Heavy Industry India Pvt Ltd, JCB India Ltd, Case Construction, ACE and Schwing Stetter, among others.
More than six automotive items and solutions were on display by exhibitors at ‘The Components Show’ at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka. BorgWarner exhibited electrification-supporting technology, such as LFP battery systems, while Klüber Lubrication showcased its environmentally friendly solutions for contemporary mobility. Next-generation automotive solutions including the Autorobot-CRS, EV products and Smart Light-Touchless Aligner were introduced by ATS ELGI. Products for passenger automobiles, two- and three-wheelers, commercial vehicles and agricultural and off-road vehicles were also on show at TEXSPIN.
Meanwhile, significant stakeholders such as Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, National Capital Region Transport Corporation Ltd and Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd were among those who actively participated in the Urban Mobility & Infrastructure Show and its Urban Air Mobility Pavilion.

Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 Commences With A Bang

The highly-anticipated Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 commenced with a bang on 17 January 2025. The first day of the event saw vehicle exhibitors unveiling and launching a total of 34 new products at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The e VITARA, Maruti Suzuki's first electric SUV, has been released. Modern technologies including Level 2 ADAS and Suzuki Connect's next-generation connectivity are standard on the e VITARA. Additionally, Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced three cutting-edge products: the GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel, India's first E85-compliant sports bike that promotes ethanol-based mobility; the e-ACCESS, Suzuki's first electric scooter and the brand-new Access 125.
Hero MotoCorp debuted a number of new products and projects including the Xpulse 210 to expand its adventure range and the Xtreme 250R to enter the 250 cc motorbike market. The company unveiled the Xoom 125 and Xoom 160 in the scooter market. Hero also unveiled the VIDA V2 e-scooter and the Hero HF Deluxe, the company's first flex-fuel motorbike powered by ethanol.
At Auto Expo 2025, BMW India debuted the BMW X1 Long Wheelbase All Electric, the company's first domestically manufactured EV. The SUV, which costs INR 4,900,000, has a 531-km MIDC range and an eDrive20L engine that produces 204 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. Mercedes-Benz debuted the EQS Maybach SUV 680 ‘Night Series’, an opulent luxury BEV, at the Global Expo. It costs INR 26,300,000, while the Maybach GLS 600 costs INR 37,100,000. The much-anticipated Hyundai CRETA Electric was introduced by Hyundai Motor India at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, with a starting price of INR 1,799,000.
MG Motors added the MG Cyberster and MG M9 to its NEV portfolio at the Expo. These cars, which were unveiled under the recently established premium brand channel MG Select, perfectly capture the company's philosophy of customer-focused, sustainable and intelligent transportation. At the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, Tata Motors unveiled the All-New Tata Sierra. This contemporary version of the iconic car embodies the ideal harmony of sustainability, elegance and utility by fusing cutting-edge technology with classic design. With the introduction of the Eicher Pro X Range, VE Commercial Vehicles made its debut in the 2-3.5T Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) market. Co-developed with logistics professionals, this electric-first line transforms mid- and last-mile operations.
The new Kia EV6 was introduced by Kia India during the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. outfitted with the state-of-the-art ADAS 2.0 package, which includes 27 innovative safety and driver-assistance technologies. Greaves Cotton Limited unveiled the Race and Executive versions, two high-end Ampere Nexus variations. The 'Xyber' e-motorcycle, which has a certified range of up to 200 km on a single charge and fast-charging capabilities, was also introduced by the business.
Porsche India demonstrated the brand's dedication to sustainability and innovation by introducing two ground-breaking Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs): the revised Taycan sports saloon and the brand-new Macan SUV. Three versions of the Macan BEV are available: the Macan Turbo (INR 16,900,000), the Macan 4S (INR 13,900,000), and the Macan (INR 12,100,000). Eight ICE and EV vehicles from India and a global range are on display by Škoda Auto India. Škoda Kylaq, Škoda Kylaq (Accessorised), Škoda Kushaq Monte Carlo, All-new Škoda Kodiaq, All-new Škoda Superb, Facelifted Škoda Octavia vRS, Škoda Elroq and the Škoda Vision 7S were among the products on display.
