Gestamp Intros Automotive Innovations At Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Gestamp, a leading global automotive technology company specialised in the design, development and production of highly engineered metal components, unveiled its innovative range of products today at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

The GES-GIGASTAMPING® product line, a ground-breaking series of large-format components that integrate many body sections into one unit, was launched by Gestamp. This single item simplifies assembly and reduces expenses by replacing several cold and hot-stamped pieces. Among its many noteworthy advantages are improved safety cell integrity in collisions, lighter parts, simpler integration and a more environmentally friendly solution. Gestamp also introduced its Highpertubes, high-strength tube materials intended to improve vehicle crash performance, in the chassis area. These essential parts, which are made with cutting-edge hydroforming methods to ensure maximum CO2 efficiency and cost-effectiveness, are critical to occupant safety. Gestamp has introduced the Active Frunk, which is intended only for electric vehicles (EVs). The front lid can open and close completely automatically because of this technology's powered system, which also incorporates active pedestrian protection measures.

Gestamp's Technology and Innovation Office is leading the development of solutions for a new mobility paradigm in which different powertrains coexist, ranging from combustion engines, hybrids and plug-in hybrids to pure electric cars. Gestamp is spearheading the transition to electric transportation by utilising its cutting-edge technology and engineering know-how. With an emphasis on lightweight materials to increase vehicle range, innovations that satisfy changing safety regulations and designs that simplify assembly procedures, the company is developing essential parts for future EV architectures.

    The company also unveiled the Ergo Power II transmission for construction equipment, tailored to meet the demands of the off-highway industry. This advanced transmission integrates electronic driveline management, reducing operational costs and delivering high performance.

        Minda Corp To Acquire 49% Stake In Flash Electronics

        Minda Corp - Flash Electronics

        Minda Corporation, the flagship company of Spark Minda Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Pune-based component supplier Flash Electronics to further strengthen their role in the electric vehicle segment.

        As per the understanding, Minda Corp is set to acquire 49 percent stake in Flash Electronics for a cash consideration of INR 13.72 billion. Flash Electronics is expected to clock INR 15 billion revenue in FY2025, EBITDA margin of 14 percent and ROCE of over 22 percent.

        The strategic partnership will see Minda Corporation’s automotive body electronics and Flash’s automotive engine and powertrain electronics complement each other to offer a diverse range of solutions to its customers.

        Furthermore, Flash is already a leading supplier of electricals and electronics for two- and three-wheeler segment, along with a diverse range of products such as motors, motor controllers and vehicle control units among others for EV powertrain. Minda Corp on its part has recently introduced a range of products such as DC-DC converters, battery telematics, power electronics products and battery chargers among others. The joining of forces between the two company will see them extend their relationships with automakers to become a complete system integrated supplier.

          SEG Automotive Launches 2 New Products To Support EV Makers In India
