Toyota Launches 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition In India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), one of the leading passenger vehicle manufacturers, has unveiled the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition SUV.
The company said that the Fortuner now comes with ‘refreshed styling and premium enhancements’ to deliver a sportier and more dynamic aesthetic. The launch builds on the success of the 2024 Leader Edition.
The Fortuner gets a new grille design with front and rear bumper spoilers, chrome garnish and a distinctive hood emblem. It comes with glossy black alloy wheels and dual-tone roof in black.
On the inside, the cabin features black and maroon dual-tone seats and door trims, along with convenience additions such as auto-folding mirrors and illuminated scuff plates. Safety is bolstered by the inclusion of a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
The SUV is driven by Toyota’s 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre turbocharged engine, which produces 201bhp and 500 Nm of torque. It is available in 4x2 Automatic and Manual Transmission variants. The colour options include Attitude Black, Super White, Pearl White and Silver.

Since its Indian debut 15 years ago, the Fortuner has sold over 300,000 units, establishing itself as a benchmark in the premium SUV segment.
JSW MG Motor India Reports 9% Decline In October Sales

JSW MG Motor India has reported a decline of 9 percent in it wholesales for October 2025, with sales of 6,397 units, as compared to 7,045 units sold for same period last year.
On the other hand, the company reported a 20 percent YoY increase in wholesales during the August–October 2025 festive period.
The MG SELECT model retained its second position in the luxury electric vehicle (EV) segment, registering an impressive 62 percent MoM growth.
Hyundai Motor India Reports 53,792 Wholesales In October

Hyundai Motor India, one of the leading passenger vehicle manufacturers, has achieved total monthly sales of 69,894 units in October 2025. The volume includes 53,792 units in domestic sales.
The company stated its performance was driven by the domestic market, and it also bolstered its position as a global manufacturing hub, with exports touching 16,102 units, marking an 11 percent YoY growth.
Furthermore, the Hyundai Creta and Venue SUV duo achieved their second-highest-ever combined monthly sales of 30,119 units.
Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director & Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India, said, “October 2025 was a month driven by the festivals of Dussehra, Dhanteras and Diwali, further complimented by the positive impact of GST 2.0 reforms. This provided a significant boost to the Indian automotive industry. At Hyundai Motor India, we witnessed robust market demand and high consumer enthusiasm leading to second highest monthly sales of our formidable SUV duo – the Hyundai Creta and Venue combined, with 30,119 units sold. Tata Motors Reports Record Passenger Vehicles And Electric Vehicle Wholesales In October

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has reported wholesales of 61,295 units in total sales in October 2025, marking a 26.6 percent growth compared to 48,423 units sold a year ago. This performance delivered record-breaking monthly wholesales for the second consecutive month, driven by momentum during the festive season.
For October, the company saw sales records across key segments during the month including, 47,000 SUVs, achieving the highest-ever 77 percent share in monthly sales.
EV wholesales hit an all-time high of 9,286 units, surging 73.4 percent YoY. The Nexon SUV recorded 50 percent YoY volume growth due to the popularity of its multi-powertrain offerings.
The Harrier and Safari models achieved a new high, selling 7,000 units.
Overall domestic sales, including EVs, grew by 27 percent to 61,134 units. Monthly bookings also reached an all-time peak. The company achieved a landmark festive milestone, delivering over 100,000 vehicles between Navratri and Diwali, marking a 33 percent YoY growth.
Skoda Auto India Surpasses Record Annual Sales In 10 Months Of 2025

Skoda Auto India has achieved its highest-ever annual sales volume within the first 10 months of 2025, setting a record for the year marking its 25-years in the country. The company sold 61,607 cars between January and October 2025, beating its previous annual record of 53,721 cars sold in CY2022.
Adding to this annual milestone, Skoda Auto India also recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in October 2025 with 8,252 units sold.
The growth, the company attributed, was driven by its first-ever sub-4 metre SUV, the Kylaq, with sales of nearly 40,000 units since its launch this year. The Kodiaq, the brand’s flagship 4x4, along with the Kushaq and Slavia, maintained contributions to the volume. The high-performance Octavia RS also contributed, selling out within 20-minutes of its launch. Skoda has now sold over 200,000 locally produced cars – the Slavia, Kushaq and Kylaq.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, said, “We began the year 2025 with the intent to significantly strengthen the brand and surge ahead in India. This milestone of our ‘biggest sales ever’ is a testament to the strength of purpose, clarity of vision and agility of execution, all of which are pivotal to our surge in India. Our product offensive, culturally relevant communication, network expansion to 318 Customer Touchpoints, and increased presence in new geographic regions, are other landmarks that have fuelled our 25th anniversary to be our biggest year in India.”
Skoda has expanded its network to 318 Customer Touchpoints across 180 cities. The brand plans to increase the total sales and aftersales workforce at its dealers by 50 percent to over 7,500 by the end of 2025, alongside an investment of over 25,000 training days to enhance aftersales quality. India is also the first market for Skoda Auto globally to complete 100 percent rebranding of its entire network with the updated Corporate Identity and Design.
